Isha Bel & O.B.F's 'Nuh Call The Police' EP has barely just hit the shelves that the pair are already serving up a fresh slice of their track; an ‘unplugged’ version recorded at Anchor Recordings Studio in the heart of Isha's hometown of Kingston, Jamaica.
Striped down take of a favourite amongst sound-women & men, Isha Bel’s vibrant vocals lay on a cloud of acoustic bass, guitar, kette & nyabinghi percussion; a call to protest against the constant police repression faced by sound systems around the globe.
The pair first met back in 2016 during Rico’s visit to the island. Together they built a mountain of dubplates which resulted in the 'Lightning & Thunder' mixtape alongside the mighty Nazamba. Since that trip, Isha & Rico O.B.F have kept a firm link, growing their friendship cross-Atlantic with bright plans for the future!
