Dubquake Records presents a new addition to its modern roots singles: Jamaïcan poet & Dubquake veteran Nazamba meets Telly* (aka Biga*Ranx) the prince of Vapour dub on this sweet lo-fi summer hit “Do Me Right”. A severely chill 7” release to play on repeat!

As soon as Rico O.B.F received the demo version from Telly*, he instantly pictured Nazamba’s deep voice and unique rasta poetry over the instrumental. Telly* loved the idea and Nazamba voiced the track from his studio in Jamaïca the day after. The Dubquake Studio is where the track really took shape, Rico couldn’t help but add his enticing signature O.B.F flute. With the vocal version on side A, flip the record for the “Dub Me Right” mix and let loose!

Inspiration reggae Lo-Fi, combinaison Franco-Jamaïcaine inédite, sweet mélodies et ambiance cotonneuse : Dubquake Records présente un nouveau single 45 tours sévèrement relax à faire tourner en boucle. Pour cette sortie estivale le label donne les pouvoirs à Telly* (aka Biga*Ranx) puisqu'en plus de s'illustrer au micro aux côtés du Dub Poet Nazamba et de réaliser la pochette (dans la ligné de celle du précédent single paru sur Dubquake Records), c'est aussi lui qui signe l' instrumental ! Ode à la gloire de Rastafari, « Do Me Right » a trouvé sa forme définitive au coeur du Dubquake Studio sous l'impulsion de Rico O.B.F qui a décidé de mobiliser Nazamba sur le projet et d'y ajouter quelques irrésistibles notes de sa propre flute magique. Avec la version vocale en face A et la Dub version en face B, ce 45 tours à double dose de douceur constitue une pièce modern roots de premier choix. À savourer sans retenue.
